Leora Wien makes a range of things, working between Los Angeles and the Central Coast. Her fluid practice includes mixed media art on paper and fabric, ‘zines, essays, and performance. The materials are a conduit to explore, navigate, celebrate, and confront. Projects are driven by text, ritual, and the botanical world.  A newer area of interest is the visceral satisfaction of hand embroidery and paper lithography. Her work has been shown in Venice (CA), Los Angeles, San Francisco, Paris, Basel, and Llano.
